ちょっとメモ
テレビで放送されていた「アナと雪の女王」からのフレーズ。
She's a stinker.
stinkerとは、an unpleasant person のこと。氷を撒き散らかして嫌な奴ってこと。
 

以前、フランスに住んで気づいたことを取り上げた。今回はスペインに住んでみて気づいたことを取り上げたい。

・スペインのレストランは夜の20時開店が多い。19時ぐらいに食べたいと思ってもやっていない...昼も大体14時以降に食べる。16時ごろに職場ランチしているスーパーを見たこともある。シフトの関係もあるのかもしれないが。

・スペインには中国人が雑貨屋を開いていることが多い。日本の百均のクオリティ、低価格ではないが、様々な雑貨が200円から400円程度で手に入る。フランスで中国人経営の店といえばアジア系食料品店しかなく、このような中国人経営の”雑貨屋”は見たことがなかった。売られている商品は、スペイン語表記になっており、スペインやポルトガルで製造されているものも多い。中には、Made in P.R.C.と書かれているものも存在する。PRCとはPeople's Republic of Chinaの略。すなわち中国製である。おそらく中国の工場で製造され、パッケージはスペイン向けにし、輸入しているのだろう。中国人が中国から商品を輸入、それをスペインでスペイン人向けに販売。利益は中国人に吸い取られる、外国資本が国を乗っ取る、これがスペインの現状か。（参考記事）

・スペインの街中にはベンチが多い。おしゃべりするのが好きな人が多いのかもしれない。老人が暇なのか集まってお話ししているのも目にする。バーやカフェでも、ドリンクやおつまみのオリーブ、ハムなどだけでひたすら話している光景を目にする。そんなに話すことってありますか？

例えば、I just lost a hero. RIP David Bowie.のように亡くなったひとに使います。スラングで使われる際は、「終わった、、、」というニュアンスになります。
